We are actively pursuing new sites to expand our convenience store portfolio across the UK. We have one of the strongest covenants in the marketplace and a strong track record of working in partnership with agents, developers and landlords to open new stores.
Sainsbury's has immediate requirements for new convenience stores across the UK. We have a flexible approach and will consider all types of properties and locations. Our requirements include:
We are looking for properties that offer between 2,500 sq ft and 4,500 sq ft gross. The backup and sales area can be split over two floors, though we do require a minimum of 2,000 sq ft at grade.
We would acquire both Freehold and Leasehold properties, offering a 15 year lease with a break at year 10. Parking is not an essential requirement.
