Sainsbury’s takes stock of new season British lamb
From today, Sainsbury’s will begin stocking new season outdoor reared British lamb. The start of the season comes three weeks later than last year, and will see new season British lamb available at fresh meat counters in England, initially sourced from the West Country.

Sainsbury's Great British Beer Hunt regional finalists announced
Following an intense round of heats earlier this month in which Sainsbury’s customers and beer experts judged more than 150 beers from 70 breweries across the UK, Sainsbury’s has today announced the regional winners of this year’s Great British Beer Hunt. With bottled ales growing by 13.7% in the last year in supermarkets, breweries across the UK entered their new beers for the chance to win a coveted retail listing.

Get your movies on demand at Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s new Video On Demand service allows film fans to buy or rent movies and watch them immediately on their computer or an Apple device. The new service provides customers access to over 300 of movies, with blockbusters like “Life of Pi”, “Jack Reacher” and “Les Misérables” available to stream or download on the same day they are available on DVD.

Sainsbury’s Say ‘Yes Cheese’ to local Own Brand Cheddar
Sainsbury’s has this week, agreed a six figure deal with local dairy business Dale Farm to supply Sainsbury’s own label cheddar cheese in its 13 stores in Northern Ireland. From Mild to Mature, the range will initially be available in 400g packs.
